I saw my first December Daily two years ago, and I was starstruck. What an amazing idea-- to keep a daily journal throughout December to remember the entire holiday season. You create the album in advance with much of the basics, and leave the fun the addition of pictures, journaling and embellishments to the daily activity.
I promised myself that I was going to do a December Daily this year. I purchased this beautiful kit of paper and embellishments from We R Memory Keepers (and even mentioned it on a YouTube haul video). Except that it didn't happen.
So thank you to October Afternoon for putting together an awesome kit, complete with the blank album covers, many of the pages (no punching, no cutting!), and all the paper and doodads you could need. In a matter of a couple of hours, I have painted my cover and put together all of the basics of the pages! I still have to play a little catch up on the actual journal, but I am SO thrilled to have been able to pull this together and create a wonderful holiday momento....
So far, here is the supply list:
Album, rings, insert pages, journaling spots, washi tape, tin embellishments & patterned paper: October Afternoon; Ink: Close To My Heart; Stamps: Close To My Heart and October Afternoon; Chipboard: 3 Birds, Claudine Hellmuth; Brads: Making Memories; Stickers: Claudine Hellmuth; Twine: October Afternoon; Cardstock: craft supply

Christmas Card Workshop
Happy Monday!
A couple of weeks ago, I did a card making workshop where the women who attended made 15 cards each, five of each of the following designs. I seriously considered doing these for my own cards this year as they were so fun and easy!!! They did theirs with different paper and ribbons, but the design was the same for all of ours. What fun we had!!
